13 Of The BEST Travel Shoes You Can Buy Right Now!
Ladies, what is usually the first thing you put on your packing list when you decide to travel? For me, it is always a pair of comfortable pants (with great pockets), followed by a pair of comfortable shoes. I know a trip can be ruined without comfortable attire and a good walking shoe is a #1 priority. So, I put together a list of the 13 best, comfy travel shoes you can buy right now.
Let me know which ones you like!
I like to travel with a minimum of 4 pair of shoes. I find I need:
- A nice flip flop for beach walking and jacuzzi time;
- A cozy slipper for evenings and walking around the hotel hotel room or Airbnb;
- A really easy, slip-on walker for days when I know light sight seeing and easy walking are in order;
- A more solid, heavy duty hiking/walking shoe that I know I will wear for 75% of the trip – and will need to keep my feet dry, warm and have good enough arch support to keep my feet from getting too sore on my vacation.
Also, if I travel somewhere where I know I will need a more dressy outfit, I will add pair of dressy velvet flats or a wedge heel, depending upon occasion, to my list.

Flip flops for jazuzzi/pool time and beach walking ❤️
The Clark’s Seabreeze is a nobrainer. They come in a wild assortment of colors and they are the most comfortable flip flop you will ever own. I have them in beige, navy and most recently, black patent leather. The soul is tremendously squishy and they just make for the ultimate in a comfortable flip flop.

My favorite thing about these sandals, besides the comfort sole, is the velcro strap on top. It allows you to adjust the strap to fit your foot. I have a wide foot, so I am able to let out the velcro a bit to make them fit perfect. Genius design – love them!
The second flip flop I love is anything from Havaiana’s. Check out all of their cute colors. They are light weight and easy to pack. A real good choice for beach walking and sipping Pina Coladas at the pool (virgin or course).
Slippers for lounging in the hotel or Airbnb room
I hate it when I leave town without my slippers. Sometimes I don’t take them because I don’t have room, but I always regret it when I get where I’m going.
f you already have a favorite pair, make sure you add them to your pack list. If not, or if you are in the mood for something new, here are a few of my favorite finds. All warm and cozy, of course:
I won’t lie when I tell you that these Ugg Addison Velvet Bow Slippies are my #1 fave. They are just really plush and filled with cush, which is everything I am looking for in a travel slipper. Find great colors and get more info here.
Equally gorgeous, are these Fuzzalicious slippers also made by Ugg. They come in great color and could not be cuter or more comfy.
My final slipper choice is really fun and unusual. It’s called the “Oh Yeah” and they come in 10 amazing colors. I’m definitely taking a pair of these with me on my next vacay.
Let’s move on to some walking shoe recommendations now.
Slip-on walking shoes for easier days
Trips can be hectic. You are moving fast and constantly moving! One thing you must have in your repertoire is a great slip-on to aid in your get up and go.
One of my favorite new styles for light walk days is the Payton from Sofft. Not only is it great looking, but it has a nice thick and comfortable sole to give you hours of walk time.
If leather is more your style, I also love the Frye Melanie slip on. It is gorgeous, easy to wear and really, really comfortable. It comes in black and brown and maybe another color and every color is better than the next. Click the image to check colors and availability.
If you have never worn a slip on from Merrell, you are in for a treat.
They are one of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. Marrell offers breathable fabrics and excellent arch support, making their shoes nice to wear any time. Add in the slip on styling and you are looking at the perfect walking shoe. Click shoe image to see colors.
The last easy slip on travel shoe I’d like to recommend to you is the Ecco Sport Mary Jane.
This wonderful shoe is packed with comfortable features including BIOM to allow natural foot movement. It is made of breathable fabric with leather overlays and it is a great slip-on with an elastic band.
Walking/Hiking shoes for serious walk days – the ones you’ll wear 75% of the trip. 🥾
It’s time to get down to brass tacks. Let me show you my favorite comfortable travel shoe choices that will keep your feet feeling good on your next adventure.
The Nike Todos is a really excellent shoe. I love the clean, crisp white of this shoe – and the comfort level is out of this world.
Another great recommendation from Nike is always the latest edition of their Flex Experience.
These shoes are designed with flexibility and comfort in mind. They always come in great colors and are terrific on any walk or run.
If you need a water proof hiking boot, I highly recommend the Merrell Siren 3. I wore these all over Switzerland last year and they were the epitome of comfort. I think they are really good looking too. FYI…I own the blue color
Last but not least, if you crave some color and style in your pack list, I suggest the Altra Lone Peak walking shoes. The look is sleek and the colors are very bold.
You can’t go wrong with these heavy duty hike/walk shoes. Click the image to find out more.
I sincerely hope you enjoy my list. Walk in great comfort my friends.
